Smoke Free App

Smoke Free is the UK’s most popular smoking cessation app, built with evidence-based techniques to help people to quit smoking for good.

Smoke Free commissioned me to design a series of illustrated characters to emphasize the sense of community that exists within the app. The brief required that these characters be full of personality and represent the app’s diverse userbase.

These characters help to make the app a welcoming place that can provide comfort and relief for people who are quitting smoking.

Having used the app myself, I wanted to convey the rewarding sense of accomplishment and determination that is so vital to quitting smoking successfully.
