Mental Wellbeing Toolkit

The Mental Wellbeing Toolkit is an illustrated document which aims to promote social, emotional and mental wellbeing across schools and colleges. I was commissioned by Oldham Council to create 10 illustrations to accompany the text which provides teachers with the tools to help support young people who may be struggling. The project also included a series of banners to be displayed at mental health awareness events and the document is now in its second edition. One in ten young people have a clinically diagnosed mental health disorder – creating an open dialogue is crucial and this document works towards a wider recognition of the importance of mental wellbeing.
